Nickname / display name
Email address
Phone number
Date of birth (to verify you are 18+)
Gender
Password (stored as a secure hash — never in plain text)

Profile Information

Profile photos uploaded by you
Bio and personal preferences
Dating preferences (age range, gender preference, distance)

Location

City and approximate coordinates provided during registration
Used solely for distance-based matching
Exact location is never shown to other users

Usage Data

App activity such as likes, matches, and messages
Device type and operating system
Push notification tokens (for sending notifications)
Anonymous analytics (landing page visits, UTM parameters)

Payment Information

Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play or RevenueCat
We do not store credit card or payment details on our servers

To create and manage your account
To match you with other users based on your preferences and location
To enable messaging between matched users

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

Other users: Your public profile (nickname, photos, bio, age, location city) is visible to other Feevr users for matching purposes.
Service providers: We use trusted third-party services including Cloudinary (photo hosting), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Google (location autocomplete). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
Law enforcement: We may disclose data when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active
When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days
Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correction: Update inaccurate information in your profile settings
Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from within the app settings
Portability: Request an export of your data

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text

7. Children's Privacy

Feevr is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and their data deleted.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Feevr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
